Addressing Faculty
Each semester the faculty at Mercy College gather together for a full day conference, we call it Faculty Seminar Day. The Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning, a faculty-driven center, selects the theme, organizes the event, and delivers a highly valued service to the college community.
The Spring 2012 began our close relationship with Melissa Peet and integrative knowledge, it sparked an interest in Digital Storytelling, and pushed forward our eporfolio movement.
My role in the event was extensive. I designed the program, lead a breakout session, and addressed the faculty in the opening remarks. In the weeks prior, I shot and edited a 3-minute video that was well received by those in attendance.
