Alchymie was created out of the wonder and desire for healing, transformation and growth. In mixing a particular blend, the final product is greater than the sum of it’s parts: a synthesis with healing properties. Divinely inspired and assisted, this is Alchymie. Alchymie is made with the art and science of aromatherapy and the use of essential oils, essential oils being the therapeutic extractions from plants, flowers, roots and trees. The use of plants for healing has been practiced as long as civilization has been recorded; while aromatherapy, is the modern, scientific analysis and therapeutic application of that ancient practice. derivation of the word alchemy. It is believed that the Greeks were the first, in addition to using plants for physical healing, to use plants for emotional healing. The word alchemy refers to the old world practice of conjurors and scientists who attempted to extract the divine from matter or transform the mundane into the precious (i.e., turning iron to gold). Today, alchemy is examined in the field of psychology, as a metaphor for growth and transformation of the soul through psychological conflict.
